TMW’s Stretchers are a unique solution for transforming material with significant stress and edge wave into perfectly flat, stress-free blanks. In fact, we guarantee the material we stretch:

   - will beat temper pass CTL for flatness,
   - will achieve 1/4 of ASTM A568 Table 15
      tolerances after laser cutting,

or TMW's processing is free.

This matters to fabricators. Roller-leveled blanks are flat, but still contain stress. When the blank is cut or welded, this stress causes 'springback' which deflects both the cut part and the blank. Blanks leveled on a TMW Stretcher have no residual stress and no springback. That reduces scrap.
