We also pride ourselves on living our mission statement:
"We will provide a level of toll processing that makes it impractical for you to process for yourself or others."
This philosophy extends from the dramatic to the
mundane. For example, a service center customer
called to explain that the blanks we had just shipped
had too much oil film. He wanted us to check another
shipment that was ready to go to see if it had the same
problem. We agreed to cut the bands, inspect the
blanks, and wipe them down if there was too much oil
(even though the oil was already on his coils when they
arrived at TMW). All at no charge. He was shocked that
a toll processor would go to all that trouble.
But that's what makes it impractical for him to have anyone but TMW process his material.
