TMW invented and patented the SCS process for cleaning hot rolled strip. SCS produces an oil-free, rust-inhibitive surfac that solves many problems fabricators have with hot rolled black sheet.

SCS 'brushing' gives hot roll black a clean, dry, matte surface that inhibits rust without the need for oil or coatings. The process is economical and kind to the environment (no hazardous materials used).

TMW's SCS Sheet Line processes blanks that are stretcher-leveled on TMW's Stretchers. We can also SCS process temper pass cut-to-length sheets - up to 0.500" thick - that may have been processed on your own line. Learn more at the SCS web site.
